Hello Cheryl,
Thanks for your kind words.
Penguin Australia controls the rights to my works in Oz/NZ so I'm afraid the question of audiobooks is up to them. I haven't heard from them on the subject, so it's possible something is in the works.
It might also be good for them to hear from a reader (or two?) who is interested in the audiobooks in Oz.
Sorry about that. If I hear anything, I'll post about it for sure.
The other vendor who sells my work in audio format (both download & CD) is this one: http://www.recordedbooks.com/index.cf...
But I'm not sure if they will ship to Australia ...
Thanks for writing to me and thanks for reading,
SR
Hi SylvainI absolutely loved both Gabriel’s Inferno and Gabriel’s Rapture… I’d love to purchase the audio books but I enquired with Audible.com and Barnes and noble.com who advises that your books are not available for Australia!!!!!!!
Please consider your Australian fans… we would love to “hear” your fantastic books!
Looking forward to book 3!
Regards
Cheryl

Hiyas! Just wanted to tell you that I voted for you in the final round for Best Romance for Gabriel's Rapture. It truly is the "love story" of the year. Hi Sylvain, thanks for adding me - I am a big fan of the Gabriel's Inferno series. I read them both so quickly, I couldn't put them down. I was gripped by the story and when I finished the second book I was sad it was all over, although I was pleased the way it ended, with Gabriel & Julia getting their Happily Ever After. When I discovered shortly after that there was to be a third book, I was thrilled! I am so looking forward to the third book, I can't wait to find out what's in store for Gabriel & Julia this time. Have you got any other books in the pipeline?
Maria wrote: "Hi Sylvain,Just a note to let you know how much I enjoyed the Gabriel series! The first time I read the books, I read them both until the wee hours of the morning, since I couldn't put them down...."
Dear Maria,
Thank you for this very kind note. I'm so pleased you enjoyed the novels.
I'm writing the third book as we speak and it's coming along nicely. But I'm afraid I don't have a release date yet. I hope to be able to release another teaser before the end of the year.
All the best,
SR
Hi Sylvain,Just a note to let you know how much I enjoyed the Gabriel series! The first time I read the books, I read them both until the wee hours of the morning, since I couldn't put them down. I read them a second time, more slowly, and tried to savor them more. Delicious! So much better the second go-around. And this time, with the oh-so-perfectly-matched soundtrack in the background!
I was a stranger to romance/erotic romance until recently, and have since picked up other books in this genre, but the Gabriel series is in a class by itself - so much so that I think a third read-through is being planned. :) Obsessive, perhaps, but well-worth really, truly getting to know the characters on a deeper level. I've got all kinds of thoughts swirling around in my head as to what's going to happen to Julia and Professor Emerson in the third book. In fact, I might be driving myself mad by sheer thinking (read: obsession) with the series.
This is obviously a very premature question, so forgive me, but any ideas/thoughts on when the world might become acquainted with Book 3 of Julia's and the Professor's story? It's in the cards for me to black out that date completely for a sit-on-the-sofa-in-my-pajamas-and-devour-third Gabriel book-session.
Thanks again for writing the series. Know you've got a lifelong fan!

Hello Debbie,
Thank you for these very kind words. I'm glad that you enjoyed the novels.
I haven't read Dorothy Dunnett. You've intrigued me. I'm going to look her up. Thank you.
The third book in the trilogy is coming along nicely and as ever, the snarky narrator is an entertaining companion.
All the best and thanks once again,
SR
Hello Sylvain, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading Gabriel's Inferno and Gabriel's Rapture. In addition to the compelling characters and moving love story, I really appreciated the use of literature, art, history and travel that added so much richness to your novels. You have encouraged me to reach for books I haven't read in years and seek out ones I have yet to read.
Given your interest in the literature, art, and history of the Medieval and Renaissance periods, I wonder if you have ever read the work of Dorothy Dunnett? If not, I can't recommend enough that you pick up The Game of Kings (book 1 of the Lymond Chronicles.)
I was surprised to read that Gabriel's story will be a trilogy, as I thought the ending of Gabriel's Rapture was very satisfying. However, I am delighted to hear that the Professor is still whispering in your ear, and that Gabriel, Julia, and the acerbic "narrator" will be back! Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us. Debbie

Hello SR,Thank you for your wonderful books! I enjoyed every word. I couldn't put them down and stayed up until the wee hours of the night trying to finish them and was exhausted at work the next day, but it was worth it. I finished both books last weekend and I haven't been able to stop thinking about them, so I decided to read them again and I still can't put them down even though I know exactly what will happen now. I live around the Yonge/Bloor area and every time I walk down Bloor and the Manulife building, I always think of Julia and Gabriel. : )
Congratulations on Book 3. I can't wait! I love Julia & Gabriel and I hope they get a happily ever after! I've been telling all my friends to read your books. Its such a beautiful story! Thank you again!!!
Cheers,

Hello SR,Thank You! Thank You! and Congratulations on book 3! I am so excited and I couldn't be any happier. When I received the news you'd come out with book 3 and it was official... I was smiling so hard in my class. I can't wait to be reunited with the professor *blush*. After reading Fifty Shades of Grey and having the withdrawals from it, i didn't know what to do... that was until I picked up Gabriels Inferno & Gabriels Rapture!!!! I am such a fan of yours! Your book has taught me that love is patient and much more. You write so beautifully! Please keep writing because I look forward to reading your books.
I wish all my professors were like Gabriel =)
Kind regards,

Hi Sylvain,Gabriel's Inferno & Rapture captivated my world. I read the two last week and couldn't eat, sleep, work, think, etc... until they were finished. This is probably because I have secretly always had a thing for professors ;) I loved every syllable of your beautiful story, and I hope you decide to write a third book.
