I'm glad you are enjoying the books. Love Jenks and Kisten. They were my favorites. Some of the books are sad, though. Glad you like them!

Ezinwanyi~For you, Agron (Mira, Crixus, Gannicus & Spartacus) Mary,
Thank you for giving me The Hollows Book 1-5. I am about to start book 2, and I wanted to let you know that I am enjoying Rache, Jenks & family and Ivy. Trent, Denon & Nick, not so much!

Nick is a lying dirtbag, I just feel it. Trent is an unknown scumbag species and Denon is just hateful.

Thank you so much. (hope I get Kelly Armstrong too!)

M (aka DarkBeauty73) Being on here and book blogs I have a list too on authors that I need to check out or get. You can never have to many books can you? lol

M (aka DarkBeauty73) Here is a link for the show, easier for you to check it out then to me to explain it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_Ti...

The show was based on the books there are 5 all together. I have read the first two. They are a great read.

Mary wrote: "Hey, thanks for accepting the friend request. Blood Ties by Tanya Huff--never heard of it/her. What's the book like?"

M (aka DarkBeauty73) Love to meet another Vampire junkie. I see we have alot of books in common, Anne Rice, Sookie Stackhouse and the Twilight series. The last two I don't have all the books read. I also read and watch the Vampire Diaries. Have you ever seen or read Blood Ties by Tanya Huff?

message 79: by Cheryl

Cheryl Landmark Thanks for accepting my friendship, Mary.

message 78: by Nicole

Nicole Thanks for the friend-vite! LOVE your icon! I've been a DM fan for YEARS!!!

Future Slayer Girl (aka: kitten) I'm overflowing too! I'm actually fully set up on Shelfari.com but it went down and made this as a back up. It was really a great book, I love Cheyenne McCray so I'm sort of bias. Right now I'm reading the book The Help, I'm only two chapters in and I love it. Normally I get bored with just basic fiction. But this is a really really good book

Future Slayer Girl (aka: kitten) I actually LOVED Forbidden Magic. I finished it last night and need to write my review on it! But I really really liked the whole magic theme of the book. =)

As for reading, I'm reading two books right now and not getting far with either. Guess you can figure out why. hee hee.
What about you? What are you reading? Like it?

message 61: by Mary

Mary Abshire Reading is a great way to get into writing. I have no writing degree of any kind. In fact, my degree is in business information systems. In my opinion, writing takes patience and persistence. Love too! ;o)
If you are serious, then you should try and see if you enjoy it! The more you write and read, the better you become. You can learn the craft!!!

message 60: by Stef

Stef Thanks for the friend request Mary. Great to see that you're an author. I've only recently become addicted to reading. Guess i had to grow into it lol. Reading so much has made me start to think about writing myself, but I'm really rusty on proper grammar.

message 59: by Mary

Mary Abshire Brenda, thanks for accepting. Yep, I write. I'm trying to get out of the rat race and start a new career, one that I enjoy.

Mary Abshire Roberta wrote: "Hey Mary, i must know! When is the Soul Catcher No4 out! I simply love them!!!!"
LOL Roberta. You warm my heart.
I just finished it today. Which means... I let it sit for a week or so and go back and edit. Then I submit it and see what the editor says. Short answer, it will be a while before it's published.
But, I think it's a good one with lots of action, drama, and a very happy ending. It took me long enough to write :(
I'll keep you posted (wink, wink)

message 52: by Mary

Mary Abshire LOL Val. Glad I could tempt you. (smile)
I'm not one for judging a book by it's cover. Mention vampire and you have my attention. ;o)

message 51: by Val

Val Hi Mary thanks for the invite! What a hot cover your book's got ;) Not fair, books with tempting vampires are my weakness, now you leave me no choice but to read yours, lol.

message 50: by Mary

Mary Abshire I saw you had a contest for Adrian Phoenix. I like her books a lot. Haven't read Etched in Bone yet.
I don't get as much read as I used to. I do enjoy talking about books. Always looking to chat with others about books :o)
Thanks for accepting!
