About this author

Laura Madeline Wiseman has a doctorate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she teaches English. She is the author of the recent chapbooks of poetry, MY IMAGINARY (Dancing Girl Press, 2010), GHOST GIRL (Pudding House, 2010), and BRANDING GIRLS, (Finishing Line Press, 2011). Forthcoming is SHE WHO LOVES HER FATHER (Dancing Girl Press, 2012). Early collections include PLASTIC MATCHES (2002). Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Margie, Prairie Schooner, Arts & Letters, Feminist Studies, Blackbird, 13th Moon, and elsewhere. She has received an Academy of American Poets Award and six Pushcart Prize nominations.
