Judith Gaines As a child in rural North Carolina, Judie Gaines read everything in sight, including a handed down set of Encyclopedias. She learned the art of storytelling through folktales and Greek myths and then moved on to loftier tomes of Shakespeare, Beowulf and a 1938 edition of Through the Looking Glass. She wrote her first short story at age 10 and has been crafting words together ever since. After 9 years in broadcast news, Judie turned her storytelling skills to marketing and advertising. Today she is a successful Media Producer with screen credits as Producer for the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes and the WUSA’s Carolina Courage Coach’s Shows.
