–Are you a bestseller?

–If not, how many do you have to sell?

description: Many people feel there is still a stigma surrounding self-published/small-press books but how many readers actually mind where the book is coming from?

This experience is about bringing authors, readers and book bloggers together to dispel some of the indie myths and show that if you’re missing indie, you’re missing out.

What will people get?

**Readers will be able to talk to published authors and learn about their experiences
**Authors will be able to find out what really matters to readers and if...more

Lindsay is 25% done with The Floor of Heaven: I'm not getting through this one very quickly, but it's definitely interesting. The real life characters from this time period are more interesting than what you find in most fiction, heh.

“Waiting for the right people isn't going to get us where we want; we need to go out and find..." She groped for the right word. A mission? A project? A job?

"Trouble?" Sicarius suggested.

"An endeavor that will help the city and prove to the emperor that we're undeserving of the bounties on our heads and we're invaluable resources to his regime."

"Trouble," Sicarius said.”

“Why, Sicarius, is it possible you have a playful side beneath your razor-edged knives, severe black clothing and humourless glares?”

Laura the Highland Hussy Hi Lindsay! woohoo! you found me :)

Lindsay Awww, thank you, Jessieee! (That's a lot of e's, by the way--not the traditional spelling. ;)

Jessie (Ageless Pages Reviews) love your books & blog. I have reading material forever :D

Lindsay Thanks for the note, John!

I read the first...eight or nine Black Company books years ago and noticed Cook had a couple more out since then, so I'm going to grab them when I get a chance. ;) I especially liked the first three with Croaker's dry humor.

message 2: by John

John Carroll I noticed you have the Black Company Chronicles on your to read list. They are really, really good. It's one of the few darker novels that I really like and I think Glen Cook got lost a little bit in the middle, but I highly recommend it.

Darcia Helle Thanks for the add, Lindsay! :)
