About this author

I was born in Fort Lauderdale, attended the University of Michigan on an athletic scholarship for swimming and then worked on Wall Street. I left the bright lights of the big city fifteen years ago and traveled the world. I now live in the mountains of Colorado, where I pursue my dream of writing novels.

Sometimes we just need to change our perspective...

a complete change of view from where we have been...to help us figure out where we want to go next...

and sometimes our minds need a rest, so that our imaginations can soar to new heights.

Suzanne Elizabeth Anderson is on page 56 of 336 of The End of Your Life Book Club: Just started this book and so far, I love it. Beautifully combines a reader's love of books with a loving tribute to the author's mother.
Suzanne Elizabeth Anderson is on page 100 of 368 of The Matchmaker: I am joining the fan club of Books Written by Elin Hilderband. This is only the second book of hers that I've read and I am really enjoying it. Elin creates characters who are real because they are flawed. Her plot lines keep you reading. And of course, kis there anyone who knows and loves Nantucket better?

“Isn’t that the greatest tragedy? When someone rejects us, no matter how they abuse our love, we hope against reason that somehow they will come back to us.”
Suzanne Elizabeth Anderson, Mrs. Tuesday's Departure

“I may never know when an answer to prayer is going to arrive, but I know that God will never fail me.”
Suzanne Elizabeth Anderson, Waiting with God

“As I look back on my life, I understand now that there were some very important moments when my unanswered prayer was actually God’s greatest blessing”

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go...”

Corrie ten Boom, Clippings from My Notebook

“Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Anonymous, The Defined King James Bible

“For although nepenthe has calmed me, I know always that I am an outsider; a stranger in this century and among those who are still men. This I have known ever since I stretched out my fingers to the abomination within that great gilded frame; stretched out my fingers and touched a cold and unyielding surface of polished glass.”
H.P. Lovecraft, The Outsider

“Always ask the questions you want to, life is too short to know if you'll get a second chance to ask , and afterlife is probably too long to wonder what the answer may be.”
