About this author

I have work published in The Foliate Oak (including the 2008 and 2009 annual “best of” print editions), 365tomorrows.com, mysteryauthors.com, Drops of Crimson, Colored Chalk, and The Citron Review. Stories published with Untreed Reads include A Mobster’s Guide to Cranberry Sauce, A Mobster’s Recipe for Cupcakes, and A Mobster's Toast to St. Patrick's Day. In 2011, I started a new short story romance series Young at Heart.

I live with my family in the Upper Midwest, and during the cold winter months dream of snorkeling in the Riviera Maya.

Verse, Wisconsin's April, 2013 issue includes a tribute to Ellen Kort -- Wisconsin's first poet laureate. I have the honor of having a poem published in this special issue.

I am also doing a reading Sunday, April 21st at the Fox Cities Book Festival in Appleton, Wisconsin.

This short is a cross between a mystery / thriller / holiday story. Not many stories can pull off a good Christmas thriller. A great read from a consistently strong writer!

Great news! Thanks for the heads-up!

Untreed Reads Alright Beth, big changes afoot. We've now made all of your Mobster titles (including A Mobster's Guide to Cranberry Sauce and the anthology The Killer Wore Cranberry) and Off the Dock available for sale through Goodreads. Anyone can preview a title on its book page, so if someone's asking you in the forums you can pretty easily send them along.
