Hi Nerine
Pleased to hear you are in a safe location and assume you will not be affected by the flood's peak. Fortunately the forecast 200 mls did not eventuate, instead we had sunny morning and some light showers. Hope tomorrow is the same, if so we should not experience any problems.
The highway is closed south of Grafton and all roads to the west were.
Yes, lets hope the cyclone does not occur. It's too far off to worry about yet.
I'm surprised you have power, the inet and phone signals have deteriorated during the recent rains here too.
Take care, Nerine, and let me know how you fare through Friday.

We're okay, lucky enough to be on higher ground at the moment but the highway is cut in both directions...but we'll wait and see, it peeks at 3-4am tomorrow morning :). The flood is worrying, but now we're also worried about the tropical cyclone they're talking about hitting the South-East coastal areas around the 29th Jan - eek!!
I hope your area stays dry. We keep losing internet and phone, sorry it took me so long to reply :(. Will check in when I can, make sure you're still doing well :). Nx
Nerine wrote: "Hiya..how's the water situation down your way?? Nx"Hi Nerine
Compared to what's happening up your way, I'm sweet. Had some water through the carport Friday, that's all, though forecasts are worrying.
How are you faring? Are you in the projected flood area?
I hope you are okay.

Hey I'm happy to tell you that Mandy, from Aussie Readers, fixed this issue so the link now works properly. How she did it I have no idea. Cheers.
Bubbles wrote: "Gotcha ya, I am not that used to this site. Sucks they don't allow a little more customization"I agree and one thing that should be added is a flag to indicate new inbox mail, like for instance, Facebook does.

Bubbles wrote: "Ok. 33 a gay love storyis on here but when you click on the author link it doesn't tak you to your profile here. I do not know how you fix it."Hi Bubbles
Thanks for your observation. Well what seems to be the problem is that Goodreads has applied my first name, Justin, as my author name, which is not correct. My author name is J. J. South. There is no way, apparently, to correct it, unless I change my first name to J. J. which would appear as my name on every posting I make, which is not to my liking.
Ok. 33 a gay love storyis on here but when you click on the author link it doesn't tak you to your profile here. I do not know how you fix it.
Bubbles wrote: "Thank you for adding me to your friends. Look forward to seeing your book selection and reviews. You should add your book to this site"Hi Bubbles
I have added an excerpt - Ch 1 from my book - hope you may find it interesting. Your comments are welcome.
