about this author
I am a writer and teacher from New York City. I have ties to North Carolina and Florida also. I teach special education English in the NYC public schools and also teach college part-time and do SAT and SHSAT preparation. I have MFA in fiction from University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, MA in writing from Florida State, and BA in Humanities from New College of Florida. I am married to Julie since 1999. Julie and I live in Queens, NY. I am a performing poet and percussionist with The Exploration Project avant-garde multimedia recording and performing group, founded by Scott Rifkin and featuring Eric Henty, Peter Dragotta, and a list of guest performers.
