About this author

Been writing since I was fourteen years old. I first got the urge to write when I finished Final Fantasy III for the Super Nintendo, and I didn't want the story to end. So my first attempt at writing a book came in the form of a Final Fantasy III sequel. After that, I thought it might be cool to try to create something entirely original. That's when I started writing my first novel.

And I haven't looked back!

Picture this, if you will.

A teenage Jim walks into the kitchen one morning carrying a stuffed frog. He proceeds to dance the frog around while singing a song in a silly voice, pretending that the frog is putting on a show for his mother. And when he finishes, he looks at his mother and says, "I'm going to dedicate my life to doing this."

What do you think she said? How did she react?

Now put your... read more »

Final Fantasy VI: Prologue (Science Fiction & Fantasy)
1 chapters   —   updated Oct 23, 2010 02:39pm
Description: I moved this from my blog to here. It is a novelized version of the introductory scenes of the video game Final Fantasy VI. I found myself wondering what the story would be like if it were in book form. So I took the opening scene and wrote it out. I did it all over a weekend. So it's probably got lots of errors and stuff. Doesn't matter, that was never the point. I just wanted to add another dimension to the story. I think I succeeded :) Oh, and for you purists - yes, I did change some things. For example, "We'll approach from the south" was originally "We'll approach from the east." But when you play the game, the only way in and out of Narshe (and the way the soldiers used) is from the south.

Kevin Jess wrote: "And visualizing stories in anime style = very, very cool."

Yes, I've heard of Kenshin. It was actually one of the first anime/manga stories I was introduced to by my sister.

I'm glad you like the idea of an anime-inspired novel! That's what I was hoping for when I decided to go with anime style for the cover.

Mine are novels with anime covers. I thought it would be cool because I'm a terrible artist myself (I hired someone to do the covers) so I could never do a full-fledged manga. But when I see the stories in my head, I see them in anime style. :)

Sensitivemuse hi! thanks for the add

Bradley You seem to like anime like I do. Are you novels manga or a written story? I like the thought of a novel with an anime cover. That sounds cool. =)
