I loved reading this book. It's fast paced from beginning till end, with a bit of surprising turns and twists in the middle. It was very hard to put down and I just wanted to keep going and going. Love the writing style and storyline!

I have a general policy against reading political thrillers that don't involve Jack Reacher. If Reacher's in the mix, I can be sure that any government intrigue is brought down to a level I can understand (which, if I may step outside Reacher cano...

Yet another notch in Vertigo Crime’s nascent line of graphic novels that explore a well-trodden genre that never fails to captivate. Mutti may not be the best artist, in my layman’s opinion, for this riveting and sordid tale of a long-ago series o...

“The Labyrinth, a walled garden where humans tortured plants and flowers into growing in straight lines and sharp corners so unnatural that it hurt the mind to see, was east of Thorn’s court, on the very edge of the Center Kingdom.”

Jon, I was a peace corps volunteer working with the Semuliki Wildlife Reserve and lived in Karagutu, between Fort Portal and Bundidungio. I traveled around the area last year and read The Night of Knives while I did so. I really enjoyed traveling through the Fort Portal area, Bwindi, Kampala and other places while the story unfolded in the same landscape and towns. Thanks for enhancing my travels. Paulo
