About this author

A Southern girl with an overactive imagination, Terri Garey writes award-winning and critically-acclaimed urban fantasy. Her novels have been described as "smoldering" by Publishers Weekly, and "sultry and upbeat" by Library Journal. Even though she's a big scaredy-cat who can't watch horror movies or visit haunted houses, she loves moonlit graveyards, moss-covered headstones and the idea that life goes on even after it's over. You can visit her on the web, friend her on Facebook and occasionally find her on Twitter.

My favorite summer read so far. A wryly funny, tenderly ironic, road trip/romantic comedy about a woman with no future and a man in desperate need of one. I could give you plot details, but you don't really need to know much more than "boy meets girl...more

This multi-generational Southern tale, set in the Mississippi Delta, held promise, but I had a very, very hard time relating to the main character, Vivien. She's so determined to be a self-absorbed, selfish, prescription-addicted train wreck when she...more

I've enjoyed every one of his books, but this one is the best so far (even though I seem to be reading them backward). On to The Book of Joe!
The Collector of Dying Breaths by M.J. Rose
"First off let me say that I usually don't give two stars (I noticed this book got very high ratings from others). However, I invested my time reading this book and found a lot of faults in it.
