In my new novel Ten Good Reasons To Lie About Your Age, Sally Lightfoot, suddenly widowed at 50, is set to age gracefully with chocolate, Sudoku and regular dates with Most Haunted reruns on the telly. Her feisty rock chick friend Ramone, however, has other ideas. Ramone challenges Sally to lose her 'wididity', her born-again virginity before it's too late. Sally resists until she meets a Leonard Cohen tribute artist on the Greek island where the real Leonard Cohen used to live in the 60s. Several Leonard Cohen songs were the inspiration for scenes in this part of the story (scenes, not quotes - they're not allowed for copyright reasons). (2 questions)

My blog Confessions of an Author documents my struggle over the past 5 years to get my 3rd novel published after my original publisher and agent dropped me after my 2nd novel. I moved into self-publishing about a year and a half ago. Since then the blog has become a much more cheerful place! I have just started epublishing other authors and am currently exploring the world of Print on Demand. I read all sorts of books. I love my Kindle but I'm also a library addict, I love going to my local library and seeing what I find. I'm glad the news that ebooks are actually promoting print books rather than replacing them is taking away the fear a bit.
