Description:
Close friends Allan and Warwick are dead. They're not crazy about the idea so to help them deal with this dilemma are Samantha, a blond bombshell from the 1950s, and Guy, an insecure angel.
They are soon drawn into the world of theatre - Afterlife style, with all the bitchiness, back-stabbing and ego usually associated with the mortal world. Allan also has a secret. He has a romantic crush on his friend, Warwick, but shortly after confiding in his new angel pal, his love interest falls for the cock-sure playwright, Pedro.
Not only does Allan have to win the heart of his companion, he also has to grapple with the faded memory of how he actually died.

This is more of a blog than an actual new bit of writing, but I'm too lazy or busy (or both) to actually begin blogging. Maybe in the future I will.
I while back one of the moderators from one of the book groups I'm with asked me to promote my novel.
Instead I wrote about the process of writing my novel. It took years, it took draft after draft, it took professional advice, but in the end I'm glad its out there.
The reason I posted the same text on my profile page is because my profile page is public, and if you're like me, you might be just as interested in the creative process.

This is the first draft of the first chapter of the sequel to my novel <i>Drama Queens with Love Scenes</i>
To put you in the picture, there's a link to the book trailer of the first novel you can find on my profile. At the start of this book, my two main characters have been reincarnated, and one of the plays they performed in the Afterlife in the first novel, is becoming a real life scenario at the start of the second.
Please comment, give your thoughts, talk freely. So far I have a minimilist draft of the first ten chapters, lots of notes and a plot outline that is often revised.

One book that is a must read if you're into gay coming of age novels is "Morse Code For Cats" by Tom Conyers - http://www.morsecodeforcats.com.au/index... - It's set in Melbourne and had me hooked from cover to cover.
