About this author

Novelist, Cherese A. Vines was born in Colorado into a military family during the late 1970s. Throughout her life, she has lived in several cities from Round Rock, TX near Austin to a suburb of Chicago, IL. After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University in 1999 with a degree in Mass Communications, she moved to Georgia and currently resides near the Atlanta area with her husband and two children.
Although she has a background in Journalism, Cherese's love of reading fiction led to creative writing pursuits. She has incorporated her experiences and her travels into her writings. In 2001, she self-published Countercharm her first young adult novel. The sequel to her well-received first book entitled Countercharm 2: Of Stars and Dreams...more

" This is a quick read. A very surreal twisty plot, with a lot of back story. I liked the main character Sydney and the plot, but found the changing POV a little confusing at times. Certainly original for YA paranormal! A good read. "
