Then, in my teens, I started writing longer novels. For many, many years, it was strictly a hobby because I simply loved to write stories and never really tried seriously to get published. I definitely do. As a relatively new author published by a small press, it can sometimes seem rather overwhelming and intimidating trying to get my name out there. It's nice to hear encouraging words and tips from other writers.
