About this author

John Hively is the author of "The Rigged Game: Corporate America and a People Betrayed." The book shows the political and economic mechanics of how income and wealth are redistributed from working people to the rich. He does this by showing how all recessions begin in the financial market."The Rigged Game" has been largely ignored by the mainstream press, but it has gotten outstanding reviews from several sources, include the academic journal, The Journal of Economic Issues.

Hively has predicted the coming of every recession since 1989. The author also writes young adult fiction.

Good story, not quite as good as the first book in the series, but as good, and perhaps a tad better than the second, but then maybe not.

I thought this was better than the first book, but at times it was a bit formulaic. Collins follows the typical pattern of 1. building toward a conflict, 2. conflict, 3. Katniss reflecting on the conflict and other things, 4. building toward a new co...more

This is a well researched and wonderfully written book. The only problem I had with it is the dark hole into which the Native Americans disappeared in the middle of their successful attacks against the Puritans during the late spring and early summer...more
