Voting is hardly a laughing matter. Good government starts with great leaders. But getting elected costs a lot of money. Scott Rothstein knew it and ingratiated himself to "leaders" by being so generous, albeit by dishing out stolen money, but that was all it took for those "leaders" to vouch for him and give him the credibility he needed to swindle so many.

The Memoirs of JR Holden is unique, in part, due to the humble nature of this star athlete. And the story he tells is one of hope, inspiration, faith, courage, and belief. JR tells this story without hiding or covering up any of his pit falls or short comings along the way. You will put this book down genuinely sensing the passion this young man lives life with.

I watched American Greed last night and found it very interesting - thanks for the heads-up about it. Of course, there couldn't be as much detail as in your book, but I liked seeing some of the key players.How sad that people can be so greedy and unscrupulous.
