About this author

M/M erotic romance author, freelance writer and editor, sadist with a pesky conscience, shamelessly silly, proudly pervish. I'm a twitter addict (@rachelhaimowitz), and I blog every M/W/F at Fantasy Unbound. To learn all about my current and upcoming projects, please stop by my website. I love to hear from folks, so feel free to drop me a line anytime at metarachel (at) gmail (dot) com.

High tide left a 40-foot yacht in his parking lot and enough water in his home to make it inhabitable without gutting all the drywall,... Read more of this blog post »

Ms. Nikki Yoo-hoo,Rachel! Guess what I got *waving my ereader madly*. Did you guess? I know, it took me forever. Counterpoint it is. It's sitting on my reader lookin' oh-so pretty :) Now, when I get a chance to read it...well that's another story. LOL

Haha aww, thanks Nikki! :D I hope you enjoy it! BTW, how's it look on the ereader? (I haven't been able to view it that way yet; my Kindle *finally* shipped yesterday, so I'm basically salivating by the door, waiting for UPS to arrive, but I'm not expecting cover art for pretty much anything to translate well in b&w).

Ms. Nikki Maybe it's just me, but the cover is still drool worthy in Black and White, well at least on my reader it is! I would be very happy if I was you :) 347 fabulous pages (on my Sony) just waiting to be read ;)

Oh, you have no idea just how happy I was when I first saw that. My publisher asked me if I had any ideas, and the only thing I could really say was that I wanted them to be fighting and coming together at the same time (a theme throughout the book, as you'll see), and she was like, "No problem. Trust me, it'll be awesome," and here I was thinking, you know, the typical romance novel cover but with two guys, and then she sends me that and I think I may have died three or four times before I managed to respond to it :D

Greetings Sloan! We had a lot of friends in common, so it seems like we share a lot of similar tastes, and it'd be fun to chat books with you and share reviews. Thank you kindly for the cover and video compliments; the cover was done by the amazing Nathie (check out his other stuff, he's fantastic), and the vid was created by my editor at Guiltless Pleasure, the also-amazing Tal Valante :)

Best,

I'll second the masses in saying that Tal Valante created one hell of an amazing vid for Counterpoint. Same goes to Nathie on the beautiful cover, your trust was obviously very well placed.
See ya round the campus! ;D

LOL well, I'd say about 95% of the threads in the book get wrapped up, but there is a big new thread introduced right at the end. But hey, the sequel comes out in October, and I've been posting lots of little sneak previews on my blog, so the wait's hopefully not going to be too bad.
