Unlike most other writers, I didn’t always ‘know’ I wanted to be a writer. The only fact I always ‘knew’ was that I wanted to be a READER! And I wanted to read books that brought my perfect hero to life, introduced him to the love of his life, tortured them with a great deal of angst, but always let them find a happily ever after!

Imagine my surprise when one day I wondered what would happen if I put pen to paper to write down one of the ‘stories’ that always seemed to lurk inside my brain and create my own ideal hero. Then let him fall in love with the love of his life, throw in a smattering of angst (or even more than a smattering) then finally give them a happily ever after.

An Author's WORDS TO LIVE BY

Last week during our writing challenge, one of our members sent an inspirational quote each day along with her daily check-in request. I looked forward to getting her emails, not only to post my accomplishment, but also to read the quote she sent with them. Hi Laura! I agree about Lord of Scoundrels, it's a favourite of mine as well. I also love The Last Hellion.

Yes, we have several authors in common, and yes, I've read several of Loretta Chase's books. She's one of my "must read" authors. Lord of Scoundrels will always be on my "favorite reads" list!

I went to your review site - Great reviews! I haven't read Loretta Chase's new release yet, but have it on my "must-read" list.

I wasn't aware that you reviewed for The Romance Reviews, but I would love to have you review my books. Will it work if I send an ebook, or do you prefer paperbacks?

Hi Laura, thanks for the friend invite. I am really looking forward to reading When Love is Enough and Shattered Dreams. I love books with lots of angst and the videos for them are great.

We have some authors in common I notice - Lisa Kleypas, Lorraine Heath and Elizabeth Hoyt. Have you ever read any of Loretta Chase's books? They're sexy and funny.
