Hi, Jeannie! My work is definitely diverse. It was really fun doing the five mysteries in the humorous series for HarperCollins/Avon, and now I'm totally enjoying writing THE DEBS young adult series (nonmystery) for Random House. It's more an ensemble piece with four main characters, so chapters alternate between the girls and their different points of view. I think your 13 and 14 year old granddaughters would enjoy THE DEBS, although keep in mind it's PG-13. I will visit your web site and see what's up. Good luck with the novel you're co-writing. Publishing is a tough business (it took me eleven years post-college to break in); but it's really amazing to do what you love to do and get paid for it! I feel very fortunate.
Oh my goodness Susan, your work sounds fascinating. I'll have to tell my two oldest granddaughters, 14 & 13...they're avivd readers. If you have the time, I'd love for you to visit my web site, jeanniebarber.com. I'm a novice writer so feel free to make any kind of suggestions, ideas or thoughts to correct it. I’m co-authoring a novel with Patty Wiseman, another friend on Goodreads. We’ve known each other for over 30 years. While you're there, please sign the guestbook, too! Thanks,
Jeannie
