Isn't that the worst? (When something that demands a miniseries gets cut and stuffed into a 2-hour format.) That's why the David Lynch movie version of Dune was such a disappointment to those of us who had loved the book. The eventual miniseries was an improvement on that movie.

Lea Dee Val wrote: "I haven't see either version, but I can believe it! Maybe a Hollywood production is going to miscast for star-power and the BBC is more affiliated with quality stage actors."

That was definitely a huge part of it. Plus the miniseries was 4 or 5 hours long so they were able to fit a lot more into it. The Hollywood version was about 2 hours long so a lot of it got cut and then certain things made no sense.

Hi, Alyosha! No problem on the GR notifications. :D I never know if I should reply here on my page or go over to yours, ha, ha! Very confusing. Maybe I'll do both.

Thanks for your kind words on the reviews. I'm going to start doing more / put some of them back. Doing the six word summary is fun.

You said: I'm looking forward to Alejo and Bobby's prequel like crazy! Love those two!

Thank you so much! That's great to hear!
