About this author

Born in 1983 to an Australian mother and Canadian father in Quito, Ecuador, S.M. Carrière has lived in five countries around the world including Ecuador, Gabon and The Philippines. The family moved to Australia from The Philippines shortly after the commencement of the hostilities there in 1989.

S.M. Carrière graduated high school in 2000 and moved to Canada in 2001. In 2002, she commenced university beginning in a Criminology degree, and quickly changing to the Directed Interdisciplinary Programme, focusing on Celtic Studies. She graduated with high honours in 2007.

It was not until well after she graduated the writing found her.

Well, I feel so rude! I didn't even see this comment until now!

To sheepishly answer (and beg forgiveness for the gross oversight), it is extremely cool! The new season has just started, and I go again this Sunday. I am so very lucky to be in an area where I can do all these amazing things.
