About this author

Gwendolyn Heasley is a graduate of Davidson College and the University of Missouri-Columbia where she earned her master’s degree in journalism. When she was a little girl, she desperately wanted to be the next Ann M. Martin- the author of the beloved The Baby-Sitter’s Club series. She’s incredibly grateful that the recession rendered her unemployed and made her chase her nearly forgotten dream. Her third novel Don't Call Me Baby comes out in April and her digital e-novella The Art of Goodbye (the sequel to Where I Belong) comes out in March.

She loves hearing from readers. Please email her at gwendolyn.heasley@gmail.com

She now lives in Florida with her husband and baby girl.

Pamela Hey Gwendolyn...Thanks for accepting my friend request.

Rachel Brand Hi Gwendolyn, thanks for the friend request! And thank you for correcting me about the boat scene. I was reading an ARC ebook and I honestly cannot find that scene in it at all. Can you let me know what chapter it's in? I'll correct my comment when I write my complete review. I'm wondering if maybe that scene is missing from the copy I have. I actually went and searched for "boat" in my PDF and I still can't find it, so I'm totally perplexed, LOL. It's a little bit of a mystery! xx

Juhina Hey Gwendolyn! Thanks for clarifying but I am just confused in regards to when did the main protagonist break up with Bubby? or is did the breakup happen between Where I Belong and The Art of Goodbye? I was just shocked reading about that!

Gwendolyn Heasley Hi Juhima,

Have you read A Long Way From You? It's another one of my books and it's Kitsy's story. In that novel, you find out that Bubby and Corrinne broke up :(

But they will meet again in The Art of Goodbye. Thanks for writing!
