Days like this I think I should apply for disability. I have been bedridden most of the day, barely able to move, entire body aching, sleepy, exhausted. At this point, I am lost. My medical insurance is very restrictive with doctors. I've made appointments anyway. I'll have to pay out of pocket. I cannot feel like this anymore. Sometimes I feel okay. Good even, but now it's been over a month th... Read more of this blog post »

I was immediately drawn in by the voice of this YA novel. It's unique and fresh and grabs your attention. April Bowers is like most teens, she hates her flaws (her flat chest), is desperate for friendship, and has a crush on one of the hottest guys i ...more

“What if I just want to die?"
"Then I will be sad and disappointed that you cheated yourself out of your chance at existence. Not all of us have that opportunity, you know, to choose life.”
Megan Bostic, Never Eighteen

“Life is subjective as far as memories are concerned. I mean, what pieces of your own life do you really remember? Some good times, some bad times definitely, but mostly you remember those times that really stand out, those times that define who you are as an individual. Now's the time my life flashes before me—flickering recollections, vacations, holidays, friendships, the moments that made a difference. Mostly I remember that weekend with Kaylee.”
Megan Bostic, Never Eighteen

“Maybe if we all just tried to put pieces back together as soon as they fell out of place, the puzzles in our lives would feel more like an accomplishment than a chore”
Megan Bostic

“Justin, honey, you were my very first kiss. My very first hand to hold. But you were nothing more than an average guy. And I don't say that to be mean- I don't.
