Kathryn R. Blake has been writing romances with paranormal twists since the early 1980s. Intrigued by wizards and curses ever since she read The Once and Future King, by T.H. White, she sought out the unusual in books and movies for many years before finally creating her own. Despite a nine-to-five that often required 60 to 75 hours of her time each week, Kathryn managed to write and publish 2 books, though not nearly as quickly as she would have liked. With her first book published in 2003, and her second not until 2008, Kathryn is now focused on writing full time and completing a sequel to her first book, Mortal Illusions, this year.
In addition to writing, Kathryn enjoys traveling, reading, attending the theatre, and is a passionate lover of animals, though is currently without any four-legged furry companions of her own.
