| What can i say? I love this series. In this volume, I particularly enjoyed how Lloyd blurred the line of what is good or bad in us with the character of Ellidyr. | |

| Fun take on the witches theme. Felt a wee bit dated. | |

| Such a good balance of good story and fun characters, lightness and thoughtfullness. I haven't read this books in 15 years, and it's still as great as when I first read it. | |

| Quirky, fun. Decent romance. I like the use of the idea that by pretending to live a story, the story eventually becomes true. | |

| A pretty easy read. I'm curious enough by the characters to be considering trying the sequel. | |

Hey Matt. Actually, I just now found audiobook versions of both "Old Man's War" and "Agent To The Stars." Downloading now. Yay! :)
But yes, old man is not funny. Got it. Looking forward to both. And I'm about half through "Stitches" and do find it weirdly compelling. Thanks for the reccs! :)
You can read it online, too: http://www.scalzi.com/agent/archives/...Old Man's War is not comic, though it does have comic elements, but Agent to the Stars definitely has some humor you'll appreciate.
And yes, I did recommend Stitches. . . hope you're finding it as weirdly compelling as I did! :D
Matt wrote: "if you're still looking for funny sci-fi, try Agent for the Stars: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/88..."Thanks, Matt! Reserved at the library! And I'll even try to "read" it. Sadly, the library has only one of his books on audiobook, and it's in PC format. But I haven't forgotten that you've recommended "Old Man's War." Hey, did you recommend "stitches" to me? I'm reading that right now. Cheers! -c
