Trent Allen Ruble is an evangelical Christian, police officer, military veteran and author. He was born in Indiana in 1961 to Ronald (a railroader) and Carol Ruble. Mr. Ruble traveled extensively as an aircraft loadmaster while serving in the United States Air Force. He then attended Indiana University - Purdue University, Fort Wayne (IPFW) where he studied Writing, Sociology and Spanish. Although Mr. Ruble is now a retired city police detective, he still works as a police officer at IPFW.
Mr. Ruble's been married to Tami, a first grade teacher, since 1988. They have four children and three grandchildren. The family resides in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
