With unique names such as Bejuss, Heliotrope, and Eponymous Tringthicky, there is no lack of imagination in these quaint stories. Though definitely written for young adults or older, the situations that the goblins find themselves in are entertain...

I hate to point out the obvious Amazon, No author wants to buy a copy of their own work. Stop sending those idiotic 'You viewed' emails!!
Almost there. Just need three more people to purchase a copy of The Seventh Age to reach the ultimate sales target of 5000 sold. :)
I never dreamt I'd be saying this, but one of my books - The Seventh Age - is only fifteen away from reaching five thousand sales. ;)
Goodreads wants to know what am I reading today? I would be happy to tell everyone. But according to Goodreads, the best selling English author Michael Jecks and his books don't exist!!!!
Come on admit it, as writers, whenever you get a one star review, don't you feel like saying to the reviewer, "there, there, never mind. Next time I'll write a book just for you full of words like 'and' and 'but'. We can't have you using your brain now can we?"
I was having a 'chat' with one of my FB friends after he read my latest historical science fiction short story http://akhen1khan2.blogspot.co.uk/201.... We were discussing the so-called Dark Ages in which my short story is set. One of the last things I said to him was how long would it take for us to revert to a tribal way of life should we all experience a global disaster? Food for thought methinks...
Despite the glowing reviews, The Forgotten Age is currently inhabiting #105,644 Paid in Kindle Store at Amazon.com and #164,745 Paid in Kindle Store at Amazon.co.uk - go figure!!!!The Forgotten Age
Think about it: There is an old saying in our game - you're only as good as your last book. Or to put it another way - life's a bitch and then you die. :)
Starting tomorrow 22nd November, my latest novella 'The Forgotten Age' will be given away from an Amazon outlet near you. :)
Got my two copies of the paperback version of my fantasy anthology Globular Van der Graff's "Goblin Tales for Adults" in the mail today. Now you too can have a physical copy via the Amazon site near you. :)
There is now a petition at Care2, set up to rid Amazon of its Forums - the home of their own brand of internet troll. Why not sign it to show your displeasure at Amazon's seeming reluctance to close down their own trolls? http://www.thepetitionsite.com/863/69...
Get your copy today from an Amazon outlet near you.
Glob's reviews: http://www.amazon.com/Globular-Graffs...
At last! here are the final figures for Glob's give away - US1096 UK53 DE9 ES1, making a total of 1159 copies freely downloaded. Thank you one and all for taking Glob and his brothers into your hearts and minds. :)

I was truly humbled today when the internationality recognised author Robert Bauval reviewed my science fiction novel "The Seventh Age". You can read his revue on the Amazon.co.uk page at: http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-revie...
Sadly, I've just removed the Goodreads app I had installed on my blog. Why? Because the book covers no longer appear. Meaning no one reading my blog can take a look at a book I have just bought, or reviewed any more.
A message to Goodreads. What's the story with Goodreads? Since they fell out with Amazon and a few other book sources, its becoming increasingly impossible to source a book on Goodreads' Title/Author/ISBN search tool, particularly if you are looking for a specific cover, or version.
It negates the whole purpose of Goodreads as a site where readers and authors meet. If you can no longer find the book you want there, how are you to review or recommend it to the rest?
Come on Goodreads, get your act together - fast! At the moment, my advert for you on my blog is blank.
Come on folks, the more that take the opportunity to get a free download of "Onet's Tale" from the Amazon outlet near you, the more the story will be read, and hopefully appreciated. If you have already done so, please do offer your own review - good, bad or indifferent, on completion of reading it on the Kindle page for 'Onet' at Amazon US, UK, Germany, France, Estonia, or wherever you may be - thank you.
Yesterday's free download figures as as follow:
280 in the US.
111 in the UK.
5 in Germany
1 in Estonia
"Onet's Tale" became No:1 on the Kindle list in Germany, No:9 in the UK, and No:22 in Estonia.
So go and download your own Kindle copy. You have until Jan 30th to get my science fiction space opera for nothing.
Love Science Fiction? My sci-fi space opera "Onet's Tale" will be free to download during the period Jan 27-30 at Amazon. Get yourself a copy for nothing folks. :)
Nice to see that 'Goodreads' is dragging its heels yet again regarding updating our blog posts from our personal blog sites - NOT!

Good grief give me strength folks. Now besides having your personal space invaded by the music of the person next to you on the commuter train or bus, we are going to suffer sound effects from E-readers? http://t.co/XkgqNWq
10,036 hits, and yet only 32 followers for my blog. Not bad for a little guy. Thanks for all the hits folks on:http//akhen1khan2.blogspot.com/

Hallo David, I'm glad to make your acquaintance. I hope you enjoy reading "Onet's Tale". With a bit of luck my second sci-fi novel "Seventh Age" will be out next year(2012), appropriate as it is set in 2011-12. :))
Hello Mr Eason. My name is David.
First of all, I have to warn you that my english is very poor and I beg you to forgive the grammar mistakes.
At the same time, I'm more than opened to corrections and suggestions of any kind, aimed to improve my english.
Having said that...
I glad to found a site like this, where I can meet people wich whom sharing the reading passion.
I'm looking forward to read Onet's Tale. Considering your book taste and influences, I'm sure that the book is gonna be delightful.
Have a good day.
Just had another of my short stories published on "Angie's Diary". You can read Wuffa's Sword at:http://angiesdiary.com/stories/wuffas...
By the way, I’ve recently finished writing the manuscript of my next science fiction novel “The Seventh Age”, set in the present. It is a story about a race to prevent ‘Time’ from counting down to destruction, evidenced by the Mayan calendar ending in 2012. Now I have to wait for my editor to find time to do his stuff. Hopefully it will be published next year – 2012.
Whew! I have just finished the last major editing session for my next science fiction novel "The Seventh Age". Now I have to wait patiently until my editor has a free space in his busy schedule...
I couldn't quite believe what I was reading in an article earlier today. American traders in shares were worried about their profits because of the Japanese earthquake and its attendant Tsunami. What about the poor people of Japan for Christ's sake, surely their health and welfare far out-ways the needs of the greedy?
Hmm. I may have finished writing my manuscript yesterday, but now I've just begun to edit chapter by chapter, expanding or contracting where necessary. One chapter per day - that's the key...

Thinking about the last point however, its possibly well beyond the grasp of the trolls...
