Lorraine Bartlett writes the Victoria Square Mysteries. A Crafty Killing (2011); The Walled Flower (2012).
Bartlett honed her characterization and plotting skills as a frequent writer for romance magazines. Her manuscript, Murder in Morton Mills, a traditional mystery, was a finalist in the St. Martin's/Malice Domestic contest. Her first published novel, as L.L. Bartlett, a psychological suspense, Murder On The Mind, was published in late 2005. Other titles in the Jeff Resnick Mysteries: Dead in Red, Cheated by Death, Cold Case.
Bartlett also writes the New York Times best selling Booktown Mysteries under the name Lorna Barrett. They are: Murder Is Binding, Bookmarked for Death, Bookplate Special, Chapter and Hearse. Look for Sentenced to Death in 2011 and Murder on the Half Shelf in 2012.
A former copyeditor, Bartlett lives in Rochester, NY, and is a member of Sisters in Crime.
