I do get frustrated in the middle of projects where I reach an impasse, but I usually switch to a different project for a while and it helps. I am currently working on a book that I started three years ago. It sat under my desk for the last two years while I did three smaller projects. Now I'm working on it again. I found where I got stuck before and am slowly finding my way through.(less)

Personal info as promised:
Did I always want to write a book? Yes, although I wasn't much of a reader. The problem wasn't that I didn't know how to read, it was that I couldn't sit still long enough to read. My sister read all the time. I wanted to make mud cities and streets, climb trees, construct a "dwelling" with hammer, nails, and boards, or to skate. No sitting around for me!

Absolutely riveting. I couldn't put it down. Getting into the mind of an extremely handicapped person will make you think twice before you speak in a hospital room or a care facility.
