Born in Indiana, Kelly has called Middle Tennessee home for the past sixteen years. He began his career as a graphic artist, in a large sportswear screen-printing company in his home town. He remained in that industry for seventeen years before taking a full-time position illustrating children's books for a christian publisher. When he's not working, he is most likely spending time with his four children or riding his bicycle, enjoying the beautiful Middle TN countryside.

His authorial debut was, Ten Unusual Features of Lulu McDunn (Frog Legs Ink, children's imprint of Gauthier Publications) which was released in August 2010. His second book was The Cycling Wangdoos, released in August 2011. Both stories teach a serious lesson, but in a sil...more
