About this author

Cameron Trost concocts tales that mix a strong dose of mystery with a hint of familiarity and dares you, Dear Reader, to drink deeply of his strange brew.

He is the author of the short story collection, "Hoffman's Creeper and Other Disturbing Tales" and the dark thriller, "Letterbox".

The characters who roam his tales of mystery and suspense include a botanist whose love for his rare plants is deep-rooted, a businessman who finds himself in the library of a stately Scottish manor, and an English couple on 'honeymoon' in a remote Queensland township.

Cameron Trost can also be found on Facebook, Blogspot and Myspace.

“Even if I had convict ancestry, I wouldn’t be ashamed of it. As far as I’m concerned, the real criminals back in those days weren’t twelve year old boys nicking a loaf of bread or a pair of socks to ward off hunger and blisters. No, it was those who exploited them; keeping the battler in the gutter while they sat around in their manors, sipping tea and admiring portraits of their toffee-nosed great grandfathers.”
