Heather Dixon grew up in a large family and currently works as a story artist for Disney Interactive in Salt Lake City. She has a passion for the movie "Mary Poppins", and her dream is to write a book of twisted nursery rhymes. She is the author of the books "Illusionarium" and "Entwined".

I sure hope so, because it’sthe birthday of Mary Poppins! “Mary Poppins” was released in theaters August 27th, 1964. Now, in Disneyland, there’s a big unofficial Mary Poppins fan gathering, where everyone dresses up Mary Poppinsy and does Mary Poppins events, like eat at the Jolly Holiday bakery and ride the carousel.

The twinkle in Mr. Bradford's eyes faded. So did his smile. He managed to keep it on his face. It looked painful.

"Oh," he said.

"Mr. Bradford?"


"Would you mind it so very much if...you know...you proposed to me?"

The light in Mr. Bradford's eyes jumped to life. He beamed so largely it almost wasn't crooked.
