| A fascinating collection. Each of the stories was (naturally) gorgeously written, and all of them seemed to have a certain delicacy. Some of them were a tad disturbing, and I was interested in how many of them were semi-futuristic. | |

| This is such a magnificent book, intricate and delicate as a bird's wing. The end always makes my heart want to burst with joy. | |

| So much fun! Possibly more fun than the first one, since we are now fully immersed in the world, and with most of the introductions of people and things out of the way, we can get down to the story! And it's a fabulous story, with more fascinating ...more | |

“It looks as though your shop is doing well," Luka said gazing around, "Could you help me find a gift for a lady friend of mine?"
My heart plunged to my grenn satin slippers, and I had to stare down at Azarte for a minute, petting him hard. Naturally Luka had a "lady friend." She was probably nobly born: the daughter of a count or a duke. I imagined her having thick dark hair and clear skin, and was bitterly jealous. "Of course," I stammered after a time. "What would she like? A gown? A sash?" If she came in for a fitting, I decided to "accidentlly" poke her with every pin.”

“Claim whatever you want. Say you only want a happy family or a successful career or a big house. I say: no, that's not what you want. You'll settle for those things, but you really want a monkey that does your evil bidding. Pullman is a genius just for this.”

“For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.”

Jessica your books are wonderful! I really loved them! I learned a lot when you visited my school, thank for sharing your love for writing with me and my friends! We had a blast.
I loved your Princess novels!! :) Princess of Glass is one of my favorite books of all time now. It was such a new take on cinderella. One of my favorite fairytales as a kid was 12 Dancing Pricesses and you did a great job retelling it :) I hope to read many of your other books in the near future
Thanks for accepting! :) I really love your books! Especially Princess of the Midnight Ball, it was wonderful!
Jessica, I just had a few thoughts that I'd like to share...1. Today I went to my library to look at the books I was on hold for... the book next to mine was your new Princess of Glass. It made me sad that I couldn't read it until after the 65th person reads it (It's on hold and I'm 66th in line...) until I get to magically take it off that shelf and take it home with me. Oh well, a few more weeks!
2. I have a maltese mix, and her name is Sadie. I think Pippin and her would be friends.
3. My last dog was a Brittany Spaniel- she lived only a 1 1/2 years, due to cancer. :( But, I wanted to let you know that I love that breed, and they make a wonderful pet :)
Hello! I just finished Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow. East o' the Sun, West o' the Moon is my favorite fairy tale, and I wanted to thank you for crafting such a wonderful retelling.
Hey, loved your Dragon Slippers book... My library system still hasn't gotten your other books in and I've been sending in book requests in like crazy : ) Can't wait to read them though!
