I can never get enough of reading stories about two characters who are complete opposites falling for one another. I think that’s what drew me to Pushing the Limits in the first place. Noah the guy at school with the reputation of a stone... " Read more of this review » |

Hey Shirley! Thanks so much for friends invite and the kind words on the buttons. It was a fun way to blow off steam, and if it helps even just one person help see the craziness of that behavior, then I'm happy. All my best on your books!
Shirley wrote: "Did I mention The Book Thief?"Oh my, I am pretty sure that you didn't, but feel free to mention it anytime, LOL!
Thank you for your kind words, they mean so much to me :)I've been meaning to read 'The Book Thief' and you gave me one more reason to do so. Also I can't wait to read 'Fury' (maybe I'll start with it).
Thanks as well for the friendship and happy writing! ;)
Shirley, look what I spotted out there in the wild! It has been out a while, but was still labeled new ;).
Thanks for the add Shirley, and glad you liked my review. There are so many amazing Aussie authors around, I love getting to support their hard work and creativity! :)
Thanks for the add, Shirley!! :) I think it's awesome that you're an author but you review so many YA Aussie books, and chat with us Aussies too :D
I prefer the term 'a-random-unicorn-and-chocolate-obsessed-bookworm', but thanks! ^_^ Just call me Max, since you seem like a nice person, and I like being friends with nice people. Well, who doesn't? And I'm totally jealous of that fact that you're an Aussie. Not only do you have cool accents, you get other books that the rest of the blogging world are dying to have easily. I got lucky with Fury, since my friend happened to have a copy <.O
I'm so happy that you accepted! It seemed like only something I could hope for, haha!Your package was something I eagerly awaited, and it's still prettier than I imagined. You've got such a cute handwriting! And in pink too! Thank you! :)
OMG, Shirley what IS that chocolate bar you sent me? Jellies, m&m's, and...POP ROCKS?!!!!! You Aussies are MAD with your chocolate. I loved it! My little girls kept elbowing each other out of the way to steal bites.
Shirley! Thank you so much for the lovely note and the CHOCOLATE. The bilbies are sooooo precious! I won't be able to eat them (for at least a few days)! Your upcoming project sounds really interesting - I love stories that go a bit dark! Can't wait!
Well I haven't read Fury yet, but Preloved sounded more like my kind of thing, so that's why I chose that one.
So I'm a bit silly and am going through old copies of the West for an assignment, I JUST saw the review for Preloved and I got a bit overexcited so I made a blog post about it haha! Just thought I'd let you know :)
Hi, Shirley! Thanks for the sweet message. ;-) How are you recently? Are you enjoying Miles from Ordinary? Have a lovely day and happy reading! :-D
Sigh. I know. It must be a character flaw or something. I also have issues with fictional books related to the Holocaust. Which is silly, but it is what it is.
Hi Shirley! Thanks for friending! I've seen you around quite a bit! And I would totally love to read your books (I'm not just saying that, I check Amazon for them once a week), but I can't seem to get them where I live. I will somehow get them eventually, though!
