Education: Wichita State University (B.A., 1959), University of Iowa (M.A,1961; Ph.D., English, 1964).
Employment: Illinois State University (1964-1993), retiring as Professor of English. Teaching: Linguistics,History of the English Language, Old English, Semantics, Creative Writing.
