Christian Bauman is the author of the novels The Ice Beneath You (Simon & Schuster, 2002), Voodoo Lounge (Simon & Schuster, 2005), and In Hoboken (Melville House, 2008). His short essays have appeared from time to time on NPR's All Things Considered since 2003. He lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, with his wife and daughters and dogs.
