I'm currently working on three books right now.

The first is a crime anthology called the Dark End of the Street. All the stories in that collection revolve around people trying to use each other as property.

The second is a novel called A Touch of Honey which is a sequel to A Taste of Honey. It is the story of a young spy who tries to infiltrate a slavery ring so she can destroy it.

The third project is another anthology called Smoke and Shadow. The stories in this collection revolve around the moral and ethical choices people have to make as spies and assassins.(less)

I don't really experience writer's block because I know where I'm going every time I sit down to write. If I get stuck on a word or a particular phrase that isn't coming to me, I just make a note of it and keep going. I can always clean up unformed ideas in the editing stage.(less)

“A pleasurable life balances health, wealth and love. Without health, it is hard to enjoy wealth or love. Without wealth, it's difficult to maintain health or focus attention on the ones we love. Gamal Hennessy "A Touch of Honey is not for the faint of heart. It is graphic, brutal, painful, frightening, but it is a well told story that takes the reader into seeding back alleys and high profile clubs and shows them the underbelly of a terrible world that abuses and exploits women"

On sale now at Amazon in e-book and paperback.

Gamal Hennessy "Not every story benefits from complex portrayals of violence. Part of the fun of a James Bond or superhero film is ignoring legal and emotional realities for a few hours. But some stories and characters can be enhanced and improved if their violent actions generated more consequences."

Gamal Hennessy One of my advanced readers got back to me today with her reaction to my next novel. Part of her email said:

"I almost stopped reading a few times because the brutality of the story was so disturbing. But, on some primal level I had to find out what happened. I wanted to read about the brutality, the sex, the pain, the conflict and resolution. You have a fabulous knack for pulling a person in and not letting them go until you are good and ready."

Damn right.

Now if I can only find 9,999 other people who feel this way I can quit my day job and just write for a living. ;)
