It’s been two years since the publication of Honor in the Dust, my nonfiction book on Theodore Roosevelt and America’s forgotten war in the Philippines. Da Capo Press will release my new book next month. It’s called Last Stand at Khe Sanh: The U.S. Marines’ Finest Hour in Vietnam, and it’s an epic story that unfolds in early 1968 in South Vietnam. The book is largely based on hundreds of hours of interviews I conducted with nearly 100 Americans who served at Khe Sanh. They were among the 6,000 U.S. soldiers who held off 20,000 North Vietnamese Army troops in a grueling seventy-seven day siege. If you’re interested in American history or military history, I hope you’ll pick it up. Thanks!
