Like most of us, I can't draw a straight line. Which was why I wrote a novel about people who can. At least it appears that they can. (Von Hot Rod himself told me that he couldn't draw a straight line either; that's why he stripes on curves.)

It began when I saw a few pinstripers on some hot rod show. Who are these people and where do they come from? Why do they paint razor-thin lines on all things vehicular and many things not? How fine is the line that separates the great from the best?

Weave that into the coming-of-age tale of a young man with many more questions than answers and you have "Pinstripes: The Unknown Story of the World's Best Pinstriper."

You can learn more at http://www.pinstripesthenovel.com. Please, enjoy.
