In 2010, she published IS YOUR BUFFALO READY FOR KINDERGARTEN? and SHE LOVED BASEBALL: THE EFFA MANLEY STORY.

In 2011, a sequel--TEACH YOUR BUFFALO TO PLAY DRUMS--was published. Her debut novel, WATER BALLOON, for upper middle-grade readers, published in September, received two starred reviews and was named a Blue Ribbon Book for 2011 by the BCCB.

SO YOU WANT TO BE A ROCK STAR will be published in 2012, along with another nonfiction baseball picture book, BROTHERS AT BAT: THE TRUE STORY OF AN AMAZING ALL BROTHER BASEBALL TEAM.

And in 2013, the picture book BOGART & VINNIE: A COMPLETELY MADE UP STORY OF TRUE FRIENDSHIP will hit the shelves. EDGAR'S SECOND WORD will follow.
