Edna Davies is an old-fashioned lady, a little timid, insecure and content to let others take the limelight. Until, that is, her curiosity and concern for the fate of a missing young woman rouses her Miss Marple instincts. Goaded on by fear that h...

| I found this mystery hard to put down. The characters, the plot and the setting are neatly interwoven with a smooth writing style that is a pleasure to read. The story is complex and keeps you guessing to the end. | |

Hey, we just had to pick a "time" for the site launch party as Goodreads requires that for invitations, but it'll be going on for several days. Anytime you're bored, pop in! The message board will be there.
I enjoy books that have suspense. I also really enjoy books if I know they are true stories. Out of all the books I have read though, its the suspense that has kept me floored. The book that I'm reading now has gotten predictable and I'm having a difficult time finishing it (I know its a YA book and I shouldn't judge it too hard, but there are alot of really great YA books out there)
