Annetta Ribken Annetta Ribken said: "This is my "go-to" book, my comfort food for the heart in printed form. I love the first three books in this series, and I'll re-read it until my eyes shrivel up to raisins."

Annetta Ribken Annetta Ribken said: "Finished the first story and started on the second -- this is classic Stephen King at his best. It's difficult to put down and has caused a fitful sleep. The master is at it again.

The second story is horrifying to any woman who's traveled alone, but...more

Tainted Love by Erin Cawood
" Beautifully tragic. I almost wish I didn't read the epilogue, just so John and Faith could live on in my mind with Fireball, Kitty-Cat-Caitlyn, and Bunny Rabbit. And let's not forget Zoe's "little man" Caleb, or even her stubborn Georgia, and broo... " Read more of this review »

A tragedy is a tragedy, and at the bottom, all tragedies are stupid. Give me a choice and I'll take A Midsummer Night's Dream over Hamlet every time. Any fool with steady hands and a working set of lungs can build up a house of cards and then blow it down, but it takes a genius to make people laugh.Stephen King

“Fiction is the truth inside the lie.”
Stephen King

“I do not aim with my hand; he who aims with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.
I aim with my eye.

I do not shoot with my hand; he who shoots with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.
I shoot with my mind.

I do not kill with my gun; he who kills with his gun has forgotten the face of his father.
I kill with my heart.”
Stephen King, The Gunslinger

“Go then, there are other worlds than these.”
Stephen King, The Gunslinger

“Alone. Yes, that's the key word, the most awful word in the English tongue. Murder doesn't hold a candle to it and hell is only a poor synonym.”
Stephen King

“He would have told her - he would have said, it matters not if you are here or there, for I see you before me every moment. I see you in the light of the water, in the swaying of the young trees in the spring wind. I see you in the shadows of the great oaks, I hear your voice in the cry of the owl at night. You are the blood in my veins, and the beating of my heart. You are my first waking thought, and my last sigh before sleeping. You are - you are bone of my bone, and breath of my breath.”
Juliet Marillier, Daughter of the Forest
