No, you're definitely not imagining that. How to Save a Life has cross-over characters from More, but they are separate series.

More actually comes first in the timeline, and How to Save a Life is the first book of a spin-off series (THE HAVEN books). The MORE books will all feature the same three characters (Richard, Luke, and Matthew) and THE HAVEN books will each feature a new couple.

Thanks for asking. I know it can be kind of confusing because I'm working on both series at the same time.(less)

More Than Most (More Book 2) (Gay & Lesbian)
1 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:38PM
Description: Richard, Luke, and Matthew return in this sequel to MORE, a Rainbow Award winner for Best Gay Contemporary Romance. Investment manager and always-in-control Richard Marshall has just landed a historic estate he's waited years to acquire. Gone a lot for his work, he's seriously craving his men. Yet it's more than just the sex he's missing. Emotionally-traumatized Luke is still dealing with the aftereffects of his father's attempt to kill him, and Matthew's trying to find his way as part of a menage relationship. When Luke and Matthew come clean with Richard about what they've been feeling, he knows there's only one way to solve all his problems: keep them close by accepting their help to investigate why someone wants to destroy the mansion he's trying to save. When it becomes clear he's put his family in danger, Richard has to choose between giving up control and pushing away the men he loves right when they've started to heal and have rekindled the explosive chemistry that brought them all together. A menage relationship is hard enough. Add in danger, intrigue, a haunted mansion, and three sexually frustrated men, and it's not a typical love story. It's much more. This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and an all-male menage relationship.
Missed Connections: I Swear to You (Gay & Lesbian)
1 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:37PM
Description: Coming from Loose Id April 29, 2014. When roommates Grady and Mateo give in to their growing lust, it's the best sexual experience of their lives. But are they really gay? Is this just sex or something more? It takes time for confused Grady to figure that out, but once he does, he's determined to have all of Mateo. Too bad tracking down brokenhearted Mateo proves impossible.   So what's a horny gay virgin who wants only one man to do? Grady posts an ad online to encourage his friend out of hiding and into his bed. Once he gets Mateo between the sheets, he's sure he can convince him that what they had together was no college experiment. But Mateo's been hiding from something—or someone. Grady is determined to tear down all Mateo's walls so he can find out what happened to him and help heal his wounds, and in the process show his best friend that he won't run. Not this time. He swears.
Take Me Home (Gay & Lesbian)
1 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:33PM
Description: Aspiring television writer Evan Walker has been in love with his best friend since high school, but Kyle doesn’t do boyfriends. Never has. Never will. Evan knows it’s a bad idea to give in to desire when he wants more than a friend with benefits. He has a new dream job. Now all he needs is the dream partner. Kyle Bennett is a mystery novelist with a severe case of writer’s block. He needs a change. He has three days on their cross-country train trip home for the holidays to figure out how to tell Evan he’s staying there for good. He also has to write the overdue pages for his editor. Only, he’s a little too distracted by the close quarters in their sleeper compartment—and Evan’s ass—to get much done. The sparks that fly between them are hotter than ever. Good thing they have a real-life mystery to focus on: why people all around them, including Evan’s new boss, want to get their hands on a journal that once belonged to Kyle’s grandfather. When a blizzard traps them in the mountains, Kyle and Evan steam up the train’s windows and must finally face their true desires.
Breathe (Gay & Lesbian)

Description: Lincoln McCaw lost everything -- his home, his job, his partner -- after he caused a fatal accident. A year later, he's drowning the guilt and despair in whiskey, but he needs to move on. His sister and her kids are counting on him. Then he meets a man who ignites a passion Lincoln thought he’d never find. Too bad one night is all they can have together. Now he needs to figure out how to turn away from the only person who makes him feel alive…before whoever is sending him threats decides Lincoln needs to suffer more than he already has. Jay Miller is surrounded by grief and misery until he finally gives in to all those years of sexual fantasies about being with another guy. Realizing he’s ended up in the arms of the man who caused his wife’s accident, he tries to pull away. But how can he give up a friendship he needs more than anything -- a friendship and a love that could save him? He may not have time to make the choice before someone else destroys it all.

“Jay advanced. For the second time in his life, he didn’t give a shit what anyone else said about his choice in a lover. He seized Lincoln by the waist and crushed his mouth to the other man’s. Lincoln spread his lips and grabbed hold of Jay. No hesitation. No delay. Everything faded but the strength of that kiss, the power, the depth, the drive of man against man.”
