About this author

Tiffany was born and raised in Texas, USA. Though she never considered herself a writer, inspired by the experience of writing and reading via unique online derivative fiction communities, she began to experiment.

As of 2010, Tiffany Madison’s celebrated derivative fiction portfolio is housed under a nom de plume and is comprised of nine stories, including four novellas, three short stories and a five-part series. As for original fiction, she has penned two short stories and has a forthcoming novel, Black and White. The anticipated release date for the latter is Fall 2011.

It is time we accept there’s no Cronkite moment for Afghanistan. Perhaps it's time we value the hearts and minds of our own over distant Afghan tribes.Tiffany Madison

Most gun control arguments miss the point. If all control boils fundamentally to force, how can one resist aggression without equal force? How can a truly “free” state exist if the individual citizen is enslaved to the forceful will of individual or organized aggressors? It cannot.Tiffany Madison

“Most men claim to desire driven, independent and confident women. Yet when confronted with such a creature reverence often evolves into resent. For just like women, men need to be needed.”
Tiffany Madison

“I believe the world is divided in three groups: givers, takers and the few that can balance both impulses. Giving and loving is a beautiful thing. It is the currency of compassion and kindness, it is what separates good people from the rest. And without it, the world would be a bleak place. If you are a giver, it is wise to define your boundaries because takers will take what you allow them to; all givers must learn to protect that about themselves or eventually, there is nothing left to give.”
Tiffany Madison

“The problem with having problems is that ‘someone’ always has it worse.”
Tiffany Madison, Black and White

“The Internet is the petri-dish of humanity. We can't control what grows in it, but we don't have to watch either.”
Tiffany Madison

“As a Texan, I say ma'm and sir to my age contemporaries and open doors for anyone that I can. This goes for men, too, though it is appreciated when they beat me to it and disappointing when they don't.”
Tiffany Madison

“Never trust someone that claims they care nothing of what society thinks of them. Instead of conquering obstacles, they simply pretend they don't exist.”
Tiffany Madison

“[On Schopenhauer in Black and White] Schopenhauer's views of love are flawed. Love can't be merely an illusion of the mind to aid in procreation, but the path to redemption for an otherwise violently selfish species. Past human greatness has proven that when challenged, love can overpower impulsive instinct, and in essence, the vilest aspects of our nature.”
Tiffany Madison

“Texans aren't cocky. We're just better than you. And you know it.”
