I grew up in Istanbul, Turkey and collaborated with Lauren Kunze on developing the storyline for The Ivy. I enjoy traveling, new restaurants, the Mediterranean coast, and all sorts of bad TV- in fact it is definitely one of my guilty pleasures, along with my addiction to my Blackberry.

After majoring in Economics at Harvard, I have worked at investment banks and in private equity management, where I tended to come up with story ideas when the boss wasn't looking :)

Lauren (the author of The Ivy) and I were roommates and best friends for all four years at Harvard. We graduated in 2008. We started collaborating on this book when we were juniors. We swore to never tell how much of it is actually true.
