Holly Kearl is a national street harassment expert, writer, and nonprofit professional based in the Washington, D.C. area. Her work has been cited by the United Nations, NY City Council, New York Times, AP, Washington Post, CNN, the Guardian, ABC News, Ms and Bitch magazines, Feministing, and Jezebel.

Holly is the author of the book Stop Street Harassment: Making Public Places Safe and Welcoming for Women (Praeger Publishers). She founded the website Stop Street Harassment and founded International Anti-Street Harassment Day (March 20).

Holly has written articles about street harassment for Guardian, Ms., Forbes.com, and Huffington Post.

She works full-time for AAUW, one of the largest and oldest women's organizations in the nation. In November 2011 she co-authored a major national study called Crossing the Line: Sexual Harassment at School.
