about this author
Jennifer Karmin curates the Red Rover reading series and is a founding member of the public art group Anti Gravity Surprise. Her multidisciplinary projects have been presented internationally at festivals, artist-run spaces, and on city streets. A proud member of the Dusie Kollektiv, she is the author of the Dusie chapbook Evacuated: Disembodying Katrina. In 2010, Flim Forum Press published her text-sound epic Aaaaaaaaaaalice. She teaches in the Creative Writing program at Columbia College Chicago and at Truman College, where she works with immigrants as a community educator.
