about this author

For as long as I can remember books have been a huge part of my life. I remember sitting on the sofa listening to my mom as she read the Little House on the Prairie series one chapter at a time. I remember puzzling over Nancy Drew mysteries and fantasizing about what would be at the top of the magic faraway tree if I were ever to venture to its top.

Ever since we read those first tales together my mind has been filled with characters and creatures, fighting for their own place in my day dreams. It wasn't until relatively recently however, that I realized I could actually take these figments of my imagination and weave my own tales around them. Before then I had always seen writing as an unobtainable pursuit, something that I couldn't entertain as a viable career path because I hadn't studied the right subjects in university.

So often I've heard of authors who penned their first novel as soon as they picked up a pencil when they were five years old. My first attempt at writing definitely didn't have that sort of happy ending, neither did the second, nor the third. I'm hoping that this one, which I have finally chosen to share with you, is worthy of your attention and can be the very start of my own happily ever after.

My début novel The Sphinx Project, the first novel of the Chimaera Chronicles, is to be released on December first. The Sphinx Project is the first in the series featuring Michaela, a genetically engineered young woman. Created to become the perfect weapon Michaela, along with her sister and friends, escapes the labs in which they were created. They must protect themselves from the scientists and their other 'experiments', whilst discovering who they really are in a world they don't know, which seems to be spiralling out of control.
